Yup, people with bust yer balls but these guys in here would be the first ones to get yer back in pinch. Never forget that. Truckers are a brotherhood. It is different now that 30 years ago but some things like sticking together are a constant. God help us when truckers band together and say no more free labor and are paid properly. For every ball buster comment you got serious reply's from good folks. Hang in there.

Like I always told my kids when they were growing up..."If I ever stop pickin on you ya better start worrying because then you will know I don't love you anymore!!"

-
I have told mine the same, but i also let them rib a few on me .
Example i have been into training with weights since i was a kid,so i do draw some attention.
I am 5 ft 8in 240 with about 10% bodyfat, but my wife pulled a pic out of the archives.
A pic with a pair levi shorts and high-tec boots and a string tank on ohhhhhhhh and a fannypak
Also as a former receiver at a food warehouse,i have seen many of truckdrivers, with a leathr vest ,cowboy hat ,wrangler jeans,a belt buckle that looked like WWE title belt, and cowboy boots with the tips(lmao) -
I only have one question, were you wearing the levi shorts, boots, string tank and fanny pack while working as a receiver at a food warehouse.
By contrast it would seam the truckdrivers were dressed a little more normal. So you did not like the belt buckle. -
Reason I drive with gloves on is because my hand sweat once in a while by holding the steering wheel for a while. So, I don't want to drive with a smelly steering wheel in my truck. That's why you see some truckers driving with gloves on. You might see me guys when I'm driving my truck.

Oh good grief, I had forgotten all about this thread. Hanadarko started this thread back in 2010. Anybody know what happened to him? He hasn't been around for years.

He started up a company making driving gloves.spyder7723, OPUS 7, REO6205 and 7 others Thank this.

Haya man; I know you are new to the forum and all, and there's a metric #### ton of info here... what you SHOULD do is click on the 5th "tab" on the 2nd line, that should say "new posts" and have at it. MANY of the threads you are tapping into, are 7 years old or so... and a lot of those guys aren't here.
Also, feel free to start your OWN Q&A thread... not sure if there's a 10 post count before you actually can.... think so... tho.
Welcome to "OUR" 'house'....
Rusty Trawler, OPUS 7, TROOPER to TRUCKER and 2 others Thank this. -
I use a set of walmart yellow gloves. I was awarded a Mechanix black gloves in a first person shooter competition a few years ago, that is what I use for driving. It's so easy to draw and fire with that material its made of. Almost as if it was once made for GI and Marine.
I used to work a auction house, no time to owie hot wheel in the sun or cold wheel in the winter. Gloves took care of all that.
