Mine won't. Where I work we are required to be off on Sundays. It is a small, family owned Christian company. Works great for me!

Just interjecting a question here, that may benefit the O/P . . . don't most (if not all) OTR companies require one to have a "permanent / home address" of some sort, and not just a P.O. Box in a tax-free state?

Parent, aunt/uncle, sibling, long term rv space, etc. Lots of ways to maintain a physical address

Also more on the east coast terminals Old Dominion runs a system where you can stay out. They call these bag runs. All daycab and paid for hotels. Running around mostly the east coast region. You can ask them.

Use hometime to your advantage, even if you don't have anywhere to go. Find an OTR company with great amenities like apu and a built in fridge that allow hometime anywhere in the continental US.
Only request 24 hrs off, but always in a a far corner of the US. Start in Washington, 10 days later let them know you want to be in Florida for 24hrs off. Then aim for South Cali, followed by Maine.
I know a Werner driver who does something similar as a trainer, lets him stretch out and actually run 48 rather than just east of the Mississippi. -
