I have a handful of applications out now. I'll be following up tomorrow and putting out more just in case. Thanks for the tips.

Tell them you want a full size truck since you plan to live in the truck. If you don't you'll get a lightweight truck with no storage space inside for your personal belongings. You have to take the passenger seat out if you want a refrigerator. You may be ok with that though; lots of content drivers work there.

I drive OTR for West Side Transport out of Cedar Rapids, IA. They have been a shockingly good company to drive for. They just have not let me down.

I should add that if you would be interested in West Side Tranport, you would start with a weekly pay commitment of $1000. At 7 months you would get $1100, and at 13 months, $1200. If there is a better job for a new driver, I don't know about it.

I would do that but I have a house and would stress all the time about my house being broken into and looted.

Pack your stuff up into a storage unit and get a property managing company to lease it out.
