Well,I can tell you about Texas, they actually Do Not allow Any "Off-road " driving lights being used as highway lights. So, my advice is l
Shop around and see if you can find a light that can be used on the road..scottlav46 Thanks this. -
I understand about installing "air craft landing lights" that blind the other drivers. I'd like the immediate road to more illuminated without blinding anyone.
How about these:

I like the light bars mounted to the grille. Looks like a rising sun coming up on your 6.jammer910Z and scottlav46 Thank this. -
How about the pick ups and semis that put the bright as #### lights in the center of the grill like a train light. Those things can be seen for miles and they're bright as hell. Someone should get blinded and swerve into them and knock some sense into them ########.

I prefer the stock lights and I drive a great deal at night.
Too much light in the foreground causes a decrease of visual acuity at normal distances.
Properly aimed and the normal colors are better all around in varying visibility for me.
I don't care for led on other vehicles, either, for the same reason of overwhelming too much that is farther away and not directly illuminated.Blackshack46 and scottlav46 Thank this.
