Hi ! I don't mean to be crude But I have a few concerns about riding with a partner. I am thinking about getting My CDL but Im a bit older than alot of new drivers and I need to stop every few hours and take a wiz. If I sign on as a second seat driver will most trainers have a problem with this. This is not a joke with me , its a real concern and would like some serious input. Thanks

Yes, it's a problem. Many people don't like the truck to stop too many times. It not only takes longer to get to destination but also some people will have hard time trying to sleep every time truck stops and you get out and in...:biggrin_25516: Like Jtrnr wrote here, get a bottle and use it while you're driving or they are driving. Just keep it where nobody can find it. They may not like it either....

On a level straightaway with no other traffic around, hand... do yourself a big ol' favor and handle your business BEFORE you enter crowded metropolitan areas, otherwise your back teeth will be floatin' while you're dealin' with heller traffic, 10?

P.S. And as far as the post by "Red Eye" goes, you'll waste over an hour a day if you pull over to urinate every time... first ya gotta find a safe place to pull over, then ya gotta handle your business, and when it's all over ya hafta wind 'er back up to cruising speed. Do yourself a favor and learn how to do it right... I lower my air-ride seat, slide it back, and get on with it while nobody else is around. You'll figure it out, or you'll spend a lot of time in rest areas or on ramp shoulders... once you're in some hole like Metro Jersey, you'll soon receive an advanced education.

Haha! especially before you enter Chicago on Friday.

But yes, I do carry a "pee" jug in my truck 100% of the time. It really sucks when you need to go and your all the way in the back of the lot and its 98 degrees outside and your in your nice cool bunk. Your learn fast. I also carry a lot of bleach to clean the jug out to reuse it.

Another piece of advice, Empty the bottle in the grass or down a sewer drain. Don't worry about what other drivers think. It's the only clean way to dispose of it I have found. And by grass I mean next to the tree line in the rest stops of the trucks stops.
