    Sounds like Wedge is having fun there! There are no birds to feed here in Shippensburg. I don't know how long it'll take to get my truck fixed but already saw a few drivers at the shop counter asking about their trucks and saying it's been a few days. Sooo...I'm preparing for the worst!

    Wedge, why not just go home to wait for the truck to be finished. I sat there for days once and finally had one of my kids come get me.

    Agreed Sammy, probably my biggest complaint with USX. The wait to get into a shop is just stupid.

    My latest adventure to THL shop was a 4 day wait for a 2 hour job. An hour and half of it was waiting for the sealant to dry.

    I did spend six days there, though. The Freightliner tech pulled my truck in Monday morning, and by lunch-time she was ready to go.

    Yep......5 day wait.........2 hour repair..........poor form. :biggrin_25512:


    I've been running hard to make up ground after that delay:

    -Charleston, TN -Joliet, IL.........................................636
    -Elwood, IL -Zainsville, OH........................................340
    -Zainsville, OH -Akron, OH................;.......................107
    -Rittman, OH, -Youngstown, OH -Tannersville, PA.........477
    -Tobyhanna, PA - Smyrna, DE...................................169

    That's 1,729 so far.

    Right now I have a load that picks up in Wilmington, DE and delivers in Mt Vernon, IL. Paid miles: 860.


    But-


    Winter storm Virgil is heading east. He's right where I don't need him to be.......IN MY WAY!




    Looks like double digit snow in the mountains of WV by the time I get there..........great.
