Driving routines

I try to do 6-7 hours, of course stopping for restroom breaks if needed. Take a 30 and start looking for a place to stop. Possibly stop again with around 1.5-2 hours of drive time left to see if I chose the best place to stop at.

 

Mine will diff than most. Local about 350mi a day avg

Usually start around the same time every day. Wake up around 3-3:30am slam 2 cups of coffee, ####, shave and shower Lol and make the 5 min drive to the yard. I always do a thorough post trip the day before so i catch anything. I hate starting my day with an issue that i could of caught the day before. Just screws up the whole day then.

I usually have a 9:30-10:30 apt time in jersey but i like to get down and beat the traffic. Im usually down there by 7:30ish and get a 2hr nap in. I love my naps. Pretty much everyday. Get empty and pick up a reload most of the time. Or bounce home to pick up another load going back to the same place.

I try and get back asap and keep the left door shut

Edit: plus if i get down there early and the 8:30 apt guy doesn't show up or is late i get out of there by 9:30. It happens more than you think it would

 

I'm pretty much close to ^^ This ^^. I get up at either 0500 or 0600. Try to run 8 hours of drive time. Though sometimes, ok a lot of times, I'll end up running 9-10 hours. Shut down no later than 1500-1700 early afternoon. So no issues, most days, getting a parking spot.

 

I did about the same when I was OTR.

 

Routine? Wheres the fun in that?
