That happened when my uncle was in the hospital. He was an old man. The nurse gave him a suppository and told him to take it. Then she said you do know how to use this right? He said yes. She said the last gentlemen I gave one to did not know how to use it. He said that is what you get for telling a patient to take it...

actually driving doesnt bring on the roids for me---when i was a mechanic i had a tiny one --usually in the winter---probabely from perching my bony ### on something cold while working on it--but now havnt had any for years--i am sure if i had a bad case--i would probabely shoot myself

 

Well, here it is, my first post, and I'm responding to a piles question! I feel your pain. I'm not a driver (a broker--yup, I admit it--a good one). EMLA cream is your friend. Ask, no, BEG your Dr. for this one.It will numb you for some time. Take Metamucil (heaping TBS) each night, the powdered kind (all gloppy, but it HAS to be the powder mixed into water or OJ). So sorry you have to deal with this!

 

Prep H. ointment. no suppository,no cream, use ointment. "A little dab will do ya"!!!

Metamucil Orange flavor,smooth texture,sugar free. This will make a world of difference, plus is supposed to lower cholesterol.
Doctor told me that stool should be consistency of a cow pie.
