I'm going to a company with sponsored cdl training. If i drive my personal vehicle there can i leave it there for an indefinite amount of time? I assume all these companies have large secure parking. That way if for some odd reason it doesn't work out i can be dropped off at the terminal and drive home.

Call the terminal and ask
austinmike, LGarrison and Longarm Thank this. -
you still park at your own risk. no company i ever worked for, took liability for any damages to anyone's car, truck, motorcycle.
then too, if you quit, then you certainly MUST return to that terminal as well, to get your vehicle. -
Most terminals let you park a vehicle there. At your own risk. Terminal I worked out of had several vehicles that drivers had abandoned. Couple of em were fairly nice.
I drove my truck to orientation then back home waiting on trainer to show up. Nice to be able to go where you want when you want. Best of luck -
I park my pickup at the Ryder terminal where all the company trucks are leased from. But we only have one location, and it's 18 miles from the house, home every 6-8 days...

At. your. risk.
I used to run out of little rock where there was a Covenant Training Ground. At the end of a parking row there is a vehicle that got smashed by a loaded trailer tandem crossing over it. It's probably still there to this day. I recall this lot in particular because swinging around past the gate was a problem. I was not with Covenant there but with another outfit briefly. -
My 97 tahoe cost me $1,100 a little over 2 years ago when i bought it. I put about $800 of work into it. If something happens to it i won't be devistated but sure i would be upset but i already got my moneys worth out of it.
x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I own a 1996 Tahoe myself. It's a love hate relationship. My insurance clerk told me that im a crusher not a crushee, hence the cost of a full coverage. I'll not get my money back out of it but paid maybe 2 grand at most for it plus a little bit of required engine work to make it behave. If it got smashed, I could care less. Really. But that does not mean I neglect it. I try to keep it 100%.

92 F-150 I just bought two days ago. Runs good, needs a few things I can have done while I'm out on the road....
