I own a 1996 Tahoe myself. It's a love hate relationship. My insurance clerk told me that im a crusher not a crushee, hence the cost of a full coverage. I'll not get my money back out of it but paid maybe 2 grand at most for it plus a little bit of required engine work to make it behave. If it got smashed, I could care less. Really. But that does not mean I neglect it. I try to keep it 100%.

Same here with the love hate relationship! lol These trucks have odd issues but since i do all my own work and very mechanically inclined it's not really an issue plus it's a hobby of mine doing auto repairs. I only have basic liability about $600 a year with Geico in Pennsylvania

I'm going to a company with sponsored cdl training. If i drive my personal vehicle there can i leave it there for an indefinite amount of time? I assume all these companies have large secure parking. That way if for some odd reason it doesn't work out i can be dropped off at the terminal and drive home.

yes you can drivers do it all the time.Companies have two separate parking lots,one for the upperstaff and one for the drivers.
