drop visor on a fld

    I am in a 1999 flat top freightliner fld and looking to put a visor on it, does anybody know how much of a drop I can do to be legal? I found a 16 inch visor but I have a good feeling it is way too illegal

    I like the look of the dropped visors, I just have to keep it legal or close to it, DOT cops like to hide out where I drive everyday
