Drug use and new drivers?yea I remember when I started in 1983 driving for a major SE grocery store.Ive personally never seen with my eyes so many drugs pills the drivers had so many they would just give them to you, crank, even coke ,out of about 35 drivers at that DC I would say half had a brief case with a pint of bourbon in them the others would just stop and buy pony beers and drink those going down the highway and throw the empties out the passenger window.

That's no lie , if anything it was worse , I started running HHG OTR in 82 .
The truck stops were full of hookers selling go fast and smoking dope over the CB , and probably anything else you wanted , most everyone I knew were terrible alcoholics.
The back row of truck stops in the SE were a huge party every night and worse on weekends.
It was out of control and that led to drug testing and no tolerance for alcohol .
That cleaned up the industry and the guys that survived operated clean , the ones who didn't lost everything

There was a lot of truck stops that had a bar either inside or on the property of the truck stop.

And a happy one too sitting on the porch.

Remember if you are trying to make me feel bad, a little more this or that will make that too go away. But I don't play like that.

Seriously, I am in between doctors at the moment. Dealing with several issues that will eventually kill me relatively soon give or take a few months to years. But the doctors cannot decide on a definate diagnosis to decide what to do with me. So they write pills to keep me quiet until they can think about what to do with me.

Thank god I do not drive a big truck right now with some of that medicine. It's horrible. Maybe I should be given Versed so I can forget this whole thing (Versed is a medicine specifically use to destroy your ability to remember this converastation...) lol.

    Teasing.

    Just saying kllleeches,
Did you ever stop to think with all the info you posted on here that some kllm driver could easily drop a dime on you ,ruining your chances to get rehired and destroying the possible discrimination lawsuit your cooking up
