Dry bulk cement job ?s

    No not really...... You can work 16 hours once a week if you return to terminal every night .......you will work long/irregular hours when it's buzzy .....

    Local Bulk hauling is hard work. Take a 10 hour break then subtract 1 hour to/from work. Then kids , wife and dinner etc = 4 hours of sleep.

    but at least your home. One thing is the rates in construction hauling kinda suck right now(since 08 really). And if your paid % this will effect you.......

    I figured if they are willing to hire me out of school and I can stay local it's at least a start. My fall back plan is Givens trucking running regional 5 out 2 home but staying local is more important than a fat pay check to me. I love to drive so getting paid to do it is a bonus!

    Here in the west coast, we do Oil Fields when building isr slow, so we really have not slowed much over the last 10 years.

    No not really, you have to stand your ground. there is a 16 hour exemption, I always refuse to use it.

    I like it. they didn't lie to me, Im home every night; some night just to shower, eat, and sleep before getting up to go at it again. But I do like the job
