It seems like there is plenty of flatbed companies that are quality carriers and are easy to find. Dry van companies are abundant but it seems a lot of them either don't pay #### or they seem to have a knack for ripping they're drivers off, or never getting you home, or being sorry to work for.
So can we compile a list of QUALITY dry van companies that pay well and treat their drivers good too?
Dry van company that doesnt suck....

Freemont Contract Carriers out of Freemont, NE . Must have a squeaky clean record !

South East Carriers
Danny Herman Trucking
H.O. Wolding
Don Hummer Trucking
Halvor Lines
Wiley Sanders Trucking - this company has million miler drivers and drivers that have been there for decades, yet some will say, "this company sucks."
Keep it in perspective; just because a driver gripes about a company doesn't mean all the drivers gripe and are unhappy. For example, some drivers make a real good living at USA Truck and have been there for years and other drivers whine like a stuck hog over trivial matters; "my dispatcher hates me!" , "this trailer sucks" , etc.Last edited: Mar 14, 2016

Well seeing as how a lot of "do I like this company" "does my dispatcher hate me" "how come my loads suck" falls onto the driver a lot, ask yourself this.... Do you spend more time at the TA rather than in your truck? Do you run? Are you the one making your dispatcher hate you? Granted there are some bad ones out there but 9 times out of 10 you get out of it what you put into it, I've never had an issue with bad van company's but I also only stop to fuel and deliver/load... I schedule my breaks around the job. I worked for interstate distributors for a year and was treated ok. Made some money. Wasn't flatbed so it was only a stepping stone to getting used to how things work in the lower 48.
