Dry van vs flatbed for a fairly new driver?

even 5 years is too early to teach. I dont have the patience to teach, maybe im just getting too old. ha ha ha

 

Those tarps have taken a many a driver out with injuries...long term & short.

 

Try it for two months, you can always go back.

 

I was sitting in a restaurant when this big driver struck up a conversation. Somehow it went to open deck. In typical fashion, big dude starts talking about how awful flat bedding has to be and (GASP!) the dreaded tarp.

A petite female walked in and became interested in what big dude was saying. He apparently was one of those guys who lost his spine around women because he started to stutter and stammer. She smiled and said, “I flatbed.”
“You????? Oh, well, I was always interested in learning yadda yadda 180 degrees about face, take back everything I said before….etc”

Embarrassing. Stand your ground, hand. Don’t choke. If a small female can do the job, how hard can it be?

 

good story Triple Six, The young lady made him Clam up, ha ha ha.. Ya Know, i tip my hat to any young lady that can run a Skate Board, and
do it running with the big boys. ha ha ha. Good for her. Heck, ill bet she can run it better than me. IM too freakin old, I have to sit down , just watching them chain and tarp. ha ha ha

 

Ya know jbrown, Im really proud of you. You went from, not doing so well, to , LOOK AT YOU NOW. Good job buddy, keep up the great work. Your going to do very well in life. I can say "PROUD", i believe im old enough go be your Dad, Heck , Or GRANDPA, ha ha ha Good Luck bud.
