Number 1,, it's not normal.
Number 2. Please don't park next to me for the night...I can't stand to hear dryers sneeze all all night.

try and see if your fan clutch has a leak...... turn key to on position and see if you hear any air leak coming out.... sometimes a leaky fan clutch can cause your air tanks to drop air pressure quickly... causing your air governor to purge more often
-
check the air line into hub....

i have seen this problem on a variety of different trucks and its always either a bad or gone o ring or a bad spring in the dryer. sometimes the o rings are a pain in the rear to find though.

you must have an air leak the dash gauge does not read from the wet tank-the air line from the dryer goes to the wet tank- the governor reads from the wet tank, now IF the check valve in the dryer is bad every time it purges it drains the wet tank until the governor tells the compressor to start again, hope this helps

thank you, I think the outlet check valve in the dryer is not seating properly, I'm gonna check it out today, hopefully this will fix it, I'll let ya know

If you replaced all the other stuff,I would suspect a lot of little air leaks, that are equaling a big air loss.
Get the truck to a quiet place and build max air pressure and shut it off.Use a spray bottle of soapy water and spray all the lines, fittings and the airbags. Good luck...
