Dt466e transmission changeover help!

    Can anyone help me with a setup. I have a 1999 International Dt466e rollback. It had the spicer 6speed manual transmission. I decided to change it over to the Allison automatic. I didnt do alot of research before hand and now im stuck. I bought everything to change it to the Allison At545(bad move). After trying two different transmissions my top speed is only 55mph at 2500rpm’s and barely pulls a hill unloaded. I checked and the truck has 3.42 rear end in it. And also im running 19.5 wheels. I also will have to use a mechanical park brake since my rollback doesn’t have air brakes. Should i try the mt643? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Was the old manual trans an od od direct top gear. Sounds like trans isnt hitting 4th gear. I would verify shifter positions, and throttle kickdown. Otherwise there is a problem with trans.
    The 545 is commen behind the 466 so should be fine for a rollback
