Get a high capacity power bank to keep your phone going during the day. I just did this and now I don't know why I didn't do it sooner. I got the tough treated 6000mah solar one. Generates no noise at all, neither RF noise nor noise in the audio output. I charge it up every night.

 

That reminds me I can plug my phone into the inverter.

I'm waiting to see what happens with your contact attempt so that I can maybe send my radio to him. I don't know if you mentioned the type of radio and the work you're looking to have done?

I'm looking to have my dx 959, peaked, tuned and aligned. Maybe have my nose floor lowered. But I have no intention of running an amp, so I don't know what would be the point of hearing people I don't have the juice to speak to?

Long story short,i want my radio to work as it should..Not detuned or misaligmed ect ect..I wanna reach out and touch someone if i wanna and be able to hear..I have a stryker 955 and an older tx star 350..I dont need to be the loudest cause that will attract the wrong attention..I just want a beefy radio that chrystal clear and set the right way...

Just for the record this works better than most Technicians work.

 

Just saw that vid when i got a reminer from youtube that hard drive loaded one...I have subscribed to his channel. definitely shows the quality of a new radio over golden screwdrivers

 

Craig sez, I would ask hardrive, or whoever you decide to send your radio to, but driving a dx350 with your 955 may not be a good idea. Imo the radio would have to be 'detuned' to run a 2pill amp. Maybe it can be done since its 2x2979's in the ts, but i would think it would be smacking the crap out of it, and may not last long. I would make sure before paying for shipping and all... jmo

 

Did try to reach fine tune few times, i am in the market to buy a radio.....no answer so far.
