Both of the radios I have by him started off much worse, they were butchered by golden screwdrivers, a 29 LX and a Grant XL. I think the Grant came out better than the 29 did. He did a complete re-alignment on the Grant, spending a lot of time on it. That was a couple months before the news of the charges against him broke.

 

I always try to keep things in their proper perspective and as much as I dislike the work he did for me I was quite impressed with the radio that I got to hear this morning.

 

He always answered the phone anytime I ever called his shop during his normal business hours.

 

Ya still got the GRANT XL ?MMMMMMMM ??????

 

Sure do. It's beat and the meter doesn't work, but it's got it where it counts.

 

Always liked those radios. They should bring them back !!!!!

Speedy Trial issues come up after a year if the Prosecutor doesn't get his case together and ready for trial by then. It can go longer if it is the defense that keeps requesting a continuance, and they usually do. Most of these cases drag on because the accused wants to stay out of prison as long as possible and avoid the humiliation of a trial. Waiting on Doctor's mental evaluations can also delay the trial. In fact, these cases are usually settled by plea agreement to keep the kids from having to go through the trauma of a trial.
