and there is the guy that rolls around in his car selling "tuned" radios, and he goes by CB Man. David is one of the best out here. there is a reason he is listed on Galaxy Radios website as a certified out or warranty repair center for all galaxy radios.

Was up in Carlisle Pa. thursday morning. Had him tweak my 2970n2. Really happy with the results. Ssb improvement is 100 percent. Keeps a clean shop. Has a 'scope. Planning on doing all my cb business with him from now on.

The guy at DTB is a complete ###. Don't waste your time. Hubs stopped in to have him look at his CB today and the guy was a COMPLETE ###! He was rude from the moment he walked in. This guy said "You get one question" WTF?! Hubs is not ignorant or a young pup, he is respectful and expects the same. You want to stay in business mr. DTB? Don't be an ###! Apparently he doesn't need the business, well good luck with that buddy. Because Hubs is a HUGE Radio Guy/ Ham Operator ... and he will make sure people don't go to this guy! Hubs ended up at the Petro at Rick's. Rick was nice, courteous and professional and he recognized another radio guy, by TALKING to hubs, without a chip on his shoulder. Rick will get our business from now on!

I call BS on this, Dave would not have the reputation he has and been in business as long as he has if he acted like this.I have done business with Dave several times and he has been very professional.

I called Dave for advice on what radio to buy and what to have done to it. He took the time to talk to me and was very helpful. Hooked me up with a Cobra 29 with his recommended mods. It walks and talks. Even made a follow up call to him, nothing but the best customer service and very good radio. He is my new radio guy.

i have used him several times as i have stated in this thread. he did the schottkey receive mod and realigned the receieve on my 99, installed echo and tuned a dx66 i used to own, and i even bought an old phillipines cobra 29 off him that i sold on ebay for almost twice what i paid for it from him after i used it or 6 months.

what you kids today dont understand is David is one of a dying breed. he went to school and learned how to use the proper electronic diagnostic equipment to repair electronic items. todays truckstop "CB" techs are nothing more than google readers and youtube watchers. they see something and they copy it over and over. i guarantee you can take ANY radio to david and it will get worked on, provided if he can find parts. he is an authorized magnum warranty repair tech, and the only radios he does not like to touch are ones that are under warranty from somewhere else.
