Thanks for the suggestion, but I doubt Ca will consider it an antique LOL. These bums wanna destroy every workin' mans dream one company at a time- too bad for them this Marine doesn't know when to quit! But on a serious note, with shady brokers, dumb@$# customers, and everyday issues, if I decide to stay in this field afterr I retire from the military at the end of this year, I'll probably be on the look out for a 2008 or newer double bunk and a 6-7 car trailer so I can take my boy on the road with me and haul more cars but keep under the 55k HUT

Hey guys remember me? I'm the one who lost my job and wanted to get started hauling cars, well my job called me back only to fire me again for a bad driving record lol I'm so done with jobs but I do have good news, this time when I lost my job it was just before I was about to quit anyway and I already had my business setup and ready to go so long story short I am currently using my 03 2500hd and 2 car hauler making between 1600-2000 per week(this is done in 3 days, 4 max) and getting ready to buy me something else to haul more cars on but I just want to tell anyone who wants to do this business that its not easy but its doable if that's a word and don't let ANYONE tell you it can't be done. Oh and to the guy who said i would need about 3-4 grand for insurance, I guess you told me that because that's what you paid because you listened to what others told you but for me i only paid $1200 down and payment runs me $330 per month. That's right even with my driving record not being the best and yes I have 1 million liability and 100k cargo because I shopped around and around and around some more. Don't listen to other people!

Hey Herman, just curious, if you're not paying $3-4000 on insurance, what does a $1200 down paymment and what, 8-10 $330 monthly payments come to LOL!

Hey man I think you missed my point but that's fine because I'm sure you missed everything else in life!

I wasn't beating ya up smartypants, just making a keen observation. But if you wanna go there, that's fine- I won't stoop to your level. You go ahead and have your fun doing it how you're doing it. And with over 19 years in the Marine Corps- and not chasing jobs in some podunk town because of crappy driving record- I'm sure I've definitely picked up a lot more in life than you ever have and ever will. That $2000 you make in a week I make in 2 days with my rig AND that gets added to my military salary. And when I retire this next year, I'll sit on my butt to make the same amount you will in a week. Again, best of luck to you!

Howdy bro, hows it going! You know my situation, I can only run the weekends, and I can't afford a dispatcher right now so I get my loads off CD, CarsArrive, and even uship. I depart thursday night and am home by Saturday afternoon-ish. I do that about 2 times a month and stay between San Diego and Sacramento. But once I retire I'll consider moving into Az and Nv, but for the time being I can't run OTR. I hate throwing $$ amounts out there but when you've been what I have in life, and then get called out like that I was a bit peeved.....

I hear people talking about dispatchers but I don't have one, as a matter of fact I don't even know how to get one. What do I need to do to get a dispatcher?
