Hello. They didn't know that he left it in the car. But yes. The moment the assailant discharged his gun. It was open season. Because he instantly became armed and dangerous. Deadly force was authorized.

 

when he "went down" after being shot the first few rounds, was it necessary to continue to shoot a man down..????

at that point, anu of the cops could have run up to him, sit on him and cuff him.

as i see it, this may very well be a white wash, and let the riots begin...
