Guess what those drivers will be asked to do?

Everything illegal under the sun! Bald tires, overweight, 20 hours a day, pay for fuel and hope to be reimbursed... etc.

Because it says "considered"? Even before knowing it was Poly I assumed they meant if it was way back in the past. After two years they figure you at least sort of know what you are doing (though I know a couple people who would prove that wrong).

I had a DUI 12 years ago. I see jobs I think would be a good fit, then get down to the bottom it says no DUI ever. Considering I've never had a ticket after that DUI twelve years ago I think I've proven myself.

    losttrucker Thanks this.

Then you have drivers that have been forced out because they make too much. That's the opinion of the company of course because most of these drivers have millions of safe driving miles and a spotless record. They go to a company like this and are treated as an equal to the new driver that has a bad record. Let the lawyers get hold of a fatality accident where the company is at fault and one of these tainted drivers is behind the wheel. If the driver has gone through what is required and has shown he or she has changed then more power to them and they deserve the best. But if it goes the other way most likely all the drivers will be looking for a new job. Not a career company for me.

Some mega carriers will take you if you can find a company that will hire you to get a year of experience. I know that is the hard part. The only other option is to take a refresher and go with a trainer for a few weeks. It is possible to do it though. You will have to take a #### job for a while to get back into the game for the experience.
