They are like that buyers assurance one.
I think it's great if you shear off the main caps or something like that, but a lot of it is stuff that may fail that's not covered, that has a big cost. Example - head gasket.
Honestly unless it's the factory warranty, like bumper to bumper, I don't think they're worth it.
I mean if you start playing the warranty game for little items, just because you're entitled, you're losing money all in all.
