Got some spec questions, since this is the 3rd time we been busted by dot.

We are fairly light 21750 empty , we haul 14.5-15 ton so we gross around 50-51,000. We have a 192" wheelbase, 219" from front axle to tunnion. We are about 2-3000 over on rears, only getting about 13000 in front. How much would in have to stretch the frame to get my weights right? How about getting my gvw raised? I want to put a 20k front in.

If you're only grossed at 51,000, what are you hauling that is putting you over AND that you can't shift your load?

Another few questions would be what kinda dump...short or frameless? Wide or narrow body?

I guess I should have asked because I think I read it wrong...are you talking about a straight truck?

Not sure if stretching a frame is going to help you get more weight on the steer in a straight truck. If anything it'd take weight off the steer. Moving drive axles back more but keeping the truck length the same might work. I'm guessing you're probably running a set forward axle when a setback axle would be what you'd need to get more weight on the steers.

Only way I can see loading more on the steer is try loading the front of the box more but thats going to cause issues lifting it as well. If you stretch the wheel base your going to have to add a longer box too so you can load further forward.

What kind of truck are you running? Set forward steer or set back??

Sorry took some things for granted.....yes it's a straight truck.
Yes I will be getting a new bed when I stretch it.
I want it to be close, I don't want to stretch it too far , then I will be too heavy on my fronts.
    It's a 9370 international forward steer axle

Is it a triaxle? I'm trying to picture 192" as a triaxle, but my brains not working currently.

This is so confusing to me. I'd like to know how many axles you have. I think everyone would actually.
