really tool pushers make double, then you were only making 50,000 a year...

The average salary for an Oil Rig Tool Pusher is $97,744 per year.

    http://www.payscale.com/research/US/Job=Oil_Rig_Tool_Pusher/Salary

    and from rig hands,

Once an oil worker achieves the rank of toolpusher he can expect an annual wage in the range of $82,000 to $90,000 USD.

and here is what a simple 4 year degree gets you, as a directional driller
The job is comprised of the best of the best drillers, and is a high pressure position, making the job desired by any driller to step up the ladder of success.
In order to be qualified for such a job, one would require you to be proficient in math and solving complex problems. You have to be a natural born leader and usually you need to have spent some time in the oil industry and be very mechanically inclined. Otherwise, you must carry a college degree in technology or engineering.

With several years experience you can easily make well over $200,000 a year, and your salary can only grow with each successful drill. - See more at: http://www.righands.com/news/news-detail/become-a-directional-driller-360#sthash.BASuqKV9.dpuf

Those are averages, There's plenty of workers in ND making well above the average wages. I'm sure they factor in OH, PA, TX and other low wage oil states too. Go do some actual work and see for yourself. you're not that far from it.

Take your own advice and go to school and take a course in basic mathematics and you'll realize how easy averages can be skewed and don't explain the important breakdowns like median, mode, sigma, standard deviation, etc

Do a payscale search and you'll see tool pushers can make 170k+ a year

And if you want to throw out worthless statistics, how about the fact that Trucker Drivers score lower on the IQ scale than cashiers and waiters & bartenders LMAO!

Hey, TLeaHeart, stop feeding the wannabe troll. So Let me feed him real quick, before I take my own advice.
I drive because I like the job, for the most part, and not the money. I have owned several retail businesses over the last 20 years and spent the better part of my working career in retail. I get bored easily with what I do now, might be the stroke I had 5 years ago, might be age. What I do know is that people that whine and cry about getting there fair dues/share are usually those that want the easy way out. Done.
Oh and I have an I.Q. of 128 according to the last Wechsler test I took.

there are days it is fun to feed the trolls, and see just how far they will go with their stories...

And I have never seen one that can keep their stories cohesive across threads they start or post in.

But I don't want to get slapped by the moderators for pointing out his inconsistencies across the different threads.

why would I go to NOrth Dakota, when the wages right here at home are the same, and the expense of living is so much less?

And yes I understand average and median income, but it is obvious you do not.

As far as your made up statistic, now that shows your desperation, LOL!!!!!
