DVT

About an hour ago I opened an email. I have lost another friend. He was semi-retired and filled in some. After reading the email I phoned his wife and we spoke for a few minutes about what happened. The Attending Physician thinks that based on the testing he developed DVT during a run down to Florida and after he started walking the clots moved and became fatal. He passed away about 2 hours after arriving at the ER, sadly it was not a level 1 trauma center and it was felt he would not survive the trip to the closest one.

Again I am pleading with everybody reading this to take care of your body. Stop at least every 2 hours and walk for a few minutes. Take a few minutes to learn the signs, the life you save my be your own!
