Dynatrac pd880 drive tires. Good or bad? Looking for a new set of drives. Any suggestions?

Sorry, I've never ran them, I've always paid the money for Bridgestone.

Dynatrac are junk, at least a few years ago they were, only got about 100 k out of them and they bounced, out of round. I have been having good luck with Yokahomas.

I go thru tires in short order for some reason. Cheap or expensive it doesn't matter. I have gotten good mileage out of the Dynatracs. Depending on what size tire you use, the best value for the money was a set of General D460 I bought several years ago. Some sizes of them are back in production and reasonably priced.

I did good with the general 460 but not so good with the new d660.

When running cheap Chinese tires do you actually think your saving money with these tires that are out of round right out of the factory have high rolling resistance and last half as long as a good brand
    Just wondering

I'm going to hit 500k with my Goodyear G572 drives on my Star. I've never rotated them so I'll probably get 600k out of the front four. But once, cry once.

When you are on short hauls with a lot of turning and scuffing I don't believe a high dollar tire is worth the expense. A bolt, piece of rebar, broken off steel fence posts, and crap on job sites all do an excellent job of ruining tires. The high dollars ones will fare no better against these objects. I drove 63,000 miles last year. I don,t see where I will get ahead will expensive low rolling resistance tires. I no longer do it but you can take your pricey tires to NY and haul out of some of the quarries there that are dug out of a very hard flint type shale rock. Then call me. One tire will never fit everyone's needs. Also, why do you think every China made tire is out of round?

I wont buy chinese tires for one simple reason. They are made in china! Do you like the USA? Then buy stuff made here!

Like @fortycalglock I today just got a new set of g572's. I had the kda's also and mine were bad like yours. Day and night difference in my truck right now.....quiet, smooth. I signed up for goodyears smart fleet deal and with that I got a $50 per tire mail in rebate too. I paid $418/tire before casing credit and before rebate, so I'll get $800 back total. I refuse to go cheap here. I have the 399a steers too so I kinda wanted all gy.
