e-logs or paper logs for a small company?

YES, u can do elogs. (computer) OR paper.

it's the EOBR you wanna stay away from.

Paper...elogs can be a pain...nothing like running 1 min over 5 min from a truckstop and getting harrassed by dot a week later ...and then the phone call from safety...

 

On secong thought my whole stink with qualcom is the hos...everything else is pretty good...u don't have to run their hos feature...just log out...

Im a newbie and could be misinformed but I was told at trucking school that come 2013 elogs is gonna be a requirement in all trucks no ifs ands or butts

 

EOBR provisions were included in the recently passed transportation bill, however, the funding to implement EOBR into a functional regulatory and enforcement model was stripped. This means that they "could" eventually find funding and push it into the industry. Currently it is not enforced.
