I just need a letter so i can re take the test. At the school they said if i dont have the letter they can not help me out. Plus I am not making no money while i am back home. I have to call tally tomorrow 8 am when they open and see if they can email the letter. They said they would mail it which that does not work because by the time i gets here i will be back at work. Its some BS but it is what it is. The school i went to want to charge 400

I have had my cdl A for 2.5 yrs and was told yesterday by Florida that I would have to retest for a no restrictions license on my cdl I drive a manual transmission truck otr. What can I do about it. Last year another state said that I surrender my license to them. But never happened I showed Florida that I never did and it still costed me over 120 dollars then to reinstate my cdl and now samething happed again but this time it not just that no they want to put restrictions on my cdl. A cdl is like impossible to keep. They make it hard on a person all the way around so I have already spent a ton of unnecessary money and time just to have my cdl. I dont get how they can take it after I been driving manuals for years. It's just reddicless I have to go take the whole test again. But it's not just that if it was it wouldn't be so bad but its probably going to cost me close to 1500.00-2500.00 dollars just to take the test and they will probably make me get a new cdl license I will have to take time off probably rent my truck and trailer and someone else to go with me there.

    Breathe....

Contact the truck driving school you went to with the letter from Florida stating e restrictions etc. Pay only to do the "road test". If not, use your truck/ trailer and go to the DMV that does cdl testing and schedule a road test. You do not need to bring another person with you (highly unnecessary). Does not cost $1500-$2500 to do this....

Got to protect your cdl at "all cost" pun intended
