EIGHT DAYS????? Without a load??? Day two I would of been making phone calls. E.W. Wylie can be much better if only they were more organized! Half the time it seems people in charge don't know what they are doing! And then try to make it seem like your fault when things go wrong. Just like today I was told to go to this terminal at 7:00. I got there at 6:59. The guards made me leave. I had to do a U-turn and there was no place to park. I contacted my dispatcher and asked exactly what time does the gate open. Dispatcher had no idea. WTF??? It turns out that the shipper lets drivers in at 7:01 exactly. If I could I'd quit right now and go to another flat bed company. But right now I don't have enough money saved up (I just started making enough to save a month ago) and I need the flatbed experience. So I'm stuck with them for about another six months in which I'll have enough money saved.

07/25/14-My last 2 week check was a sad $842 After Taxes. After a week of regional runs, It's now back to local Pick up and delivery of Pipes again. I hate these Pipe runs because you never know how you're going to get paid. They can't figure out if they want to pay us by the hour or by the load. It's nearly impossible to do 3 pipe loads a day if the receiver takes an average of 3-4 hours just to unload you. Well I'm planning on buying my own truck. I was going to look at some trucks this weekend, but they have us doing pipes this Saturday. I already was contacted by LoneStar. They told me that I have to wait until Jan 15 for that accident I had to drop off. ATS gave me info breaking down their pay for O/O and Company drivers. LandStar and Mercer didn't call me back yet. Schneider finance called but I'll put them on the back burner for now. Next I'm going to call my bank to ask if they give truck loans. Getting paid every two weeks suck for Truck Driving. I'll know to never make that mistake again.

If you're going to get your own truck, make sure you have some capital built up for repairs and all that. Good luck and keep us updated. I'm sorry your experience has been so bad.

Well It's official, I'm getting a truck. It'll be a week before the truck is ready, so I'm going to wait until then before I turn in my two week notice. Since I'm home now I started taking out all the stuff out the truck except for food and some clothes. I'm going to lease to Schneider or ATS. Both are ready to take me once I get the truck and the paperwork done. I think everything will be done right before the end of augest.

Shoot, in a year they got me home maybe twice on time. Only once in a year did I even break 3000 miles. You must kiss rear end better than everyone else there mbt6020.

If they are the best you have worked for, you must have worked for some really shady folks!
    Good luck to ya.

I was regional working out of the humble yard in Texas. The people there at the humble yard aren't bad people, and two of them called me to see how I was doing with my own truck. The issues is with load planning. Now things might be different on the OTR side. Nobody is perfect but I need more than a $1000 check every 2 weeks.
