Local CDL Driver - Class A - Eagan

Looking to hire a driver for a local Class A flatbed/TMF position working out of Eagan, MN. Typical hours at 7am-3:30pm. Up to $32/hr. Hauling solar panels, related equipment and hardware. No tarps ever!

This is a great position with a company that actually cares about their people. This includes unlimited PTO, very inclusive environment, and a team that cares about what they are doing. If you are sick of being forced to work overtime and just want a steady 8 hour a day gig where you aren't killing yourself constantly, this is a good place for it. If you have driven any Class A truck for 2 or more years, you have a chance. If you have flatbed experience, even better. If you have flatbed and TMF experience and you're a decent human, I'll hire you in a heartbeat (assuming you pass all the requirements).

Typical trips vary. Can have a day where its one or more stops in the metro, or a day where you run further out usually a maximum of an 8 hour round trip. During non-road time, you'd assist in the warehouse. I never cut hours, if you want your 40, you'll typically get your 40, overtime after 40 hours. If it's slow season and you want the extra time off, that works for me too. This is a pretty chill job.

I'm the local operations manager, with currently one warehouse associate working out of our location here. Very small team. This is our first push to operate a Class A truck from our branch, the equipment came from another branch. Tractor is an older Columbia with 250k on the clock, runs well, but has some rough edges. Typical Freightshaker interior. Trailer shows its age but works. TMF is brand new. We are willing to put the money into it, and if it's a big enough issue, we will replace the units entirely. I just need to fill the driver's seat first.
