You see where I'm going with this? Someone needs to consolidate the info and send it out to all DM's and drivers a like, just so we're all on the same page. Most of us from these forums and orientation keep up with each other, and people are going to ask us questions before anyone else. How does it look when we can't answer? Or worse, our answer is the opposite of what they were told by a recruiter, or saw when reading the website...........fr8monkey Thanks this. -
"EagleOps, post: 4633882, member: 165774"]That's very disappointing to hear. That's also not the way Eagle does (or is supposed to do) business. There shouldn't be any reason why a driver shouldn't book his/her own loads, as long as they're making money (or ok with not making money I suppose, if that's the case)[/QUOTE]

Perhaps that's one of the hiccups of a new Company and should be worked out. I think the solution is simple, just allow the driver to confirm if the DM is to busy and hasn't gotten back to the driver with in 10 - 15 minutes.Loke Thanks this. -
The good news is that at the Indianapolis headquarters, starting this week, all DMs, regardless of where they're going to be working out of, will train at Indianapolis in class together. That means everyone will know what eagle does, and how we do it, from the same source. That should help get rid of this confusion.
I wouldn't say there still won't be a bad DM or two out there, because every company will have the occasional bad employee, but overall that should help bring everyone in line.
Like I said, there's no reason I can think of that a DM wouldn't want a driver to do that, quite frankly, it's less work for the DM. Now, if Friday rolls around and the driver isn't making a check, then they may need to try and change things up, but if the driver is booking their own loads, making money, and is happy, that sounds about perfect to me. -
I was checking our profile on the CH Rob. board and between the no check calls and late arrivals, maybe that is why I can't always get good rates from them.
