Eagle ops to me it's more you guys are trying to make it harder for one to leave with the truck because of money let's look at it this if you guys get 400 truck per month logo and put in Qualcomm and things like that every month you have to do the same thing all over again it adds up so if the person as to turn in the truck and start over we will just put in another truck and wath happen to the truck you have do you start a new lease with the same truck that you have and like you need to explain that part pl

 

I don't have a lease with Quality nor do I want to come off as defending Eagle, however as the old saying goes "The devils in the details." One would have to read the lease contract with Quality to find if they could take the truck somewhere else and what are the limitations.

Quality states on their site is if you are approved with one of the companies listed on their site as a driver you are approved to lease a truck through them. There are probably some limitations to which trucks can go to which carrier.

fr8, may very well be able to take his truck but he may have to apply and be approved with a carrier and then turn the truck in and then sign a new lease agreement before starting with the new carrier.

Let's all be smart and read our lease agreements in an effort to speak intelligently before accusing any company of making life more difficult than we expect.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe what happened was basically that because Eagle is the only company that was letting Drivers take brand new trucks, some guys got smart and decided they'd sign with Eagle, drive for a couple weeks, then take their truck to another company that only allowed used trucks.

Neither Eagle nor Quality was very happy about that I think.

 

That agreement or understanding with quality has changed and im not asking for myself.....but it sounds more like quality and or eagle maybe becoz of the scenario I read from @EagleOps is probably why....carriers or lease companies change there agreements all the time becoz they use bs legalese in there agreements that says they can and u know it...coz they use terms like the company reserves the right to change this agreement as it sees fit or conditions warrant,lol yada yada yada......it's not about drivers not reading agreements .....but idont really have a dog in that particular fight...no other quality company interests me too much....I have a refeer sitting here n Knoxville at the rates are making my eyes BUG OUT!
