Most of the thread is once hopeful Eagle L/O saying how bad Eagle is at support and the availability of good paying loads. Their almost all looking for the exit. Yet here you come saying that after reading the thread SIGN ME UP!!!!......seems somewhat strange!?

Look, trucking isn't easy. You have to do some things on your own and you'll figure out pretty quick if your DM is doing their job or not. I'm familiar with the load boards and how to bid freight. I also know what my bottom dollar is per mile to make a buck in case of a bidding war and which freight lanes to avoid in reference to getting stuck. I never said sign me up, I said I'm interested but waiting to see how the company is doing in the spring before making that final decision.

    fr8monkey Thanks this.

As far as the truck goes, I'll go with a new one for the warranty, I'll wrench on my own truck as far as pm service and the simple repairs. I have a good friend who owns a service shop that I worked at for a few years and more than know my way around a truck. I can also go to him for parts and my annual inspections so you can see, I'm not some kid who is totally enamored by a shiny truck. I'm familiar with the industry and equipment and am getting my ducks in a row first.

They're gonna make their money, everyone does. They're taking a potential driver with no credit check and no money down, putting them in a truck that you would pay 160k for.
