Yep my experience too :) if your husband has a lot of experience knows his numbers and doesn't mind looking for freight and dealing with brokers eagle MIGHT be a ok place but the biggest caveat is that u will be way more experienced then almost anyone there and I have found them to be a most unhelpful bunch of people especially in light of who they try to recruit best u run your own show or program and tell them to stay the heck out of your way,I'm just being honest ma'am if u have any questions don't hesitate

Seems like a good program. For what i see u must be independent n hustle gettin loads n dealin with the boards n brokers. So far it seems depending on eagle to dispatch u will get u nose deep in it but that defeats the whole purpose of wanting to do ur own thing anyways...dont people go into this for one of the sole reasons being to pick n book their own freight and negotiate rates etc? Thats what caught my eye when i came across eagle..the fact that you are in control of your own business and the fate relies on how well u organize n operate your truck n how u route rourself. I mean i can see it bein a lil tricky settin urself up load to load n keepin deadhead in mind and gettin used to everything in beginning but im sure that comes with time n experience n gettin used to the lanes n rates n timing etc. Im sure its gotta b tough in the beginning gettin the hang of everything n catching ur rythm n building relationships w brokers but if u have a cushion of money saved to ride it out til u get more solid footing than i would def go for it if ur confident in urself n stay very organized n on top of it all. I am in search of a program like this but im not jumpin in til i set myself up for the best chance to succeed. Havin all personal matters handled have at a good ammount of money saved so i can get thru the learning curve or bad times startin out. Hey worst case scenario walk away n go back to my old job. I personally like schneiders choice but i do like having negotiating freedom like eagle so im gonna weigh it out. N when im ready i will pull the trigger on it n give it my all.
