Booked a load to Indy, not paying much, but it will get me there. Picks up Tuesday afternoon here at home, so no deadhead to speak of.

 

Very cold here in Nebraska, but the Tripac on my truck kept the batteries charged, and coolant warm, truck started right up. Gonna have a sit down with the powers that be at Eagle, let them know what I can do now, and see what happens.

 

So you may not be turning in your truck?

 

They don't want me to, with my brother gone I have to get home once a week now, instead of every 2 weeks. But they still want to sit down and talk to me, so we'll see.

Well fellows, I had a long talk with mom, and I think I will be turning the truck in. At first she was for me trying to work it out, but since we had a hard time getting anyone to commit to seeing her while I am gone, we felt that running with Greater Omaha Express would be best for us. I get home once during the week and get weekends off, and maybe, just maybe, I might be able to get one of their new Volvo 780's, Lol but more likely I'll end up in one of the 770's, and their trucks are really nice, very clean well maintained. So I'll be running in my old neck of the woods, good ole Chicago.

Ok everybody wants to know if eagle logistic in Indianapolis,In are they a good company or not. 1(you do get%75 of the load,but if ur late or whatever you will get%65) 2(everything is set up different from (flat bed),(dry van),(reefer),(local Amazon account) that's what i was on. I do know if your pulling Flat bed(There making a killing) about $10,000 to take a load from Toyota forklifts in Columbus,In to the Northwest. You can make some money pulling reefer and dry van if you pick your own loads but make sure you look,double check,look your check over,I still believe that rip me off some money ,I can prove it
