    Howdy everyone!

I drove for Knight for about 6 months back in 2002 and am considering getting a CDL again and getting back into it.

However, what I need to know to finalize this decision is how most trucking companies would be about me working 6 months of every year and taking 6 months off.

I plan to work during the warmer months and save money for traveling overseas for the cold months, and do this as a lifestyle over several years.

Would most companies have a big problem with this?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

    Great idea man!

If you manage to get this lifestyle working I think a lot of us would love a journal about your adventures.

Good luck getting it to work. Companies are so desperate for drivers that I think your plan is actually doable.
