Easiest States to Transfer CDL to Without an Address

    Ponderosa Dairies that I posted in Post #9 probably let you park free on their ranch if you drive for them. Read where they haul loads of hay to Utah on a regular route.

    If you’re not going to be a resident where you are working then there’s no need to transfer your CDL. Just keep using the address you’ve been using and go work anywhere you want.

    Exactly what I came here to say.

    just keep using your family members address .

    who’s gonna know ?
    Or care ?

    you just have to come back once a year to renew your tag on your van.
    And that can be done online now , and
    They mail it to the address it’s registered to.

    He wants a local job, not OTR. Most local jobs require the driver to have a CDL from the state the job is in.
    Some megas may not care, so that's a question he can ask when he inquires about a local job.
