eastbound I-44 near miami,OK shutdown Sunday afternoon due to accidents

    Multi-vehicle crash closes eastbound I-44 near Miami, Ok.

    MIAMI, Ok. (KY3) - Traffic on eastbound I-44 is at a standstill near Miami, Oklahoma, due to a multi-vehicle crash.

    According to the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority, drivers can expect delays that could last several hours at that section of I-44/the Will Rogers Turnpike.

    According to MoDOT officials the crash involves eight semi-trucks. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is requesting to close I-44 at the Missouri/Oklahoma state line.
