Last Tuesday we were eating at Rosa’s Taco in Rockwall Texas . A gentleman set down at a table next to my older daughter and my wife .

We talk a while he was telling me the bad things now , how brokers are making all the money, bids go out and people with cheap trucks are ruining the market.

the cost of insurance, fuel , employees leaving trucks and their loads , quitting in middle of the run .

He is seriously thinking about getting out and selling all his equipment.
    I’m not a driver .
    Thanks

He's just talking. Don't believe him at all. 99% of truck drivers complain and swear they're leaving trucking because it's just not worth it. Ten years later, they're still griping and complaining about how horrible trucking is and they're looking for a new career.

I heard "stories" like that back to the early 2000 decade, especially the "employees leaving trucks and loads, quitting in the middle of runs" except the "employees" were not "leaving their trucks", just the trailers, maybe on a R.R. track as well other select locations.

So many "trucking stories" that only WHO knows how many are real and how many are on memorex.

    One word, diversify.

If you can’t make it doing “A” , try “B” for awhile. Oh “B” doesn’t work, go do “C”, trucking you have to make yourself a chameleon and react to your environment.
