A crock pot and a good inverter. And a fridge, cooler or both. Saves TONS of money. Makes MUCH better food (with practice). And wayyyyy better for us.![]()

We spend quite a bit more than $50 and considerably less than truck stop robbery prices.
Food prepping at home, fresh fruits and veggies help a lot.Texnmidwest, Barbeque, pattyj and 1 other person Thank this. -
I have a crockpot, microwave, and toaster oven, there's not a lot I can't make in my truck. Added bonus, the crockpot works great as a sink for doing dishes.
HalpinUout, Barbeque and bzinger Thank this. -
How you get time for cooking?
I have dilemma or making miles (m0ney) or cooking to eat like a king. Poor king. -
You have a 10 hour break....
Also, that's where the crockpot comes in handy. You throw a roast on in the morning, it's ready by the time your day is done. Then the next day you just pop the leftovers in the microwave.redoctober83 Thanks this. -
Get rid of the "Nuke" oven. Why do you think they call it the Nuke oven ?........tommymonza Thanks this.

Strap down the crock pot. Takes 5 minutes to throw the food in. Drive 4-5 hours. Check it really quick. And keep moving. If it's done? Turn it off. When you park? You got supper cooked and days of leftovers.Texnmidwest, LindaPV, Snailexpress and 2 others Thank this.
