A crock pot and a good inverter. And a fridge, cooler or both. Saves TONS of money. Makes MUCH better food (with practice). And wayyyyy better for us. 2016-08-21 23.28.09.jpg 2016-07-03 21.11.46.jpg

We spend quite a bit more than $50 and considerably less than truck stop robbery prices.

Food prepping at home, fresh fruits and veggies help a lot.

I have a crockpot, microwave, and toaster oven, there's not a lot I can't make in my truck. Added bonus, the crockpot works great as a sink for doing dishes.

You have a 10 hour break....

Also, that's where the crockpot comes in handy. You throw a roast on in the morning, it's ready by the time your day is done. Then the next day you just pop the leftovers in the microwave.

Strap down the crock pot. Takes 5 minutes to throw the food in. Drive 4-5 hours. Check it really quick. And keep moving. If it's done? Turn it off. When you park? You got supper cooked and days of leftovers.
