Had a truck that wouldn’t split the high side, which made it a 9 speed, for the remainder of the day. Transmission is a RTO12513. Disassembled the splitter on back of transmission and found the little valve to be sticking. Anyone know a replacement part number for this little valve?![]()

I don't know the #. I called it a shuttle valve. Comes in a kit IIRC. New splitter piston O Ring, gaskets, and the shuttle valve.
Eaton has a great online parts manual for getting #'s.
If you can find it in a diagram, the first # listed should be the individual part #. There will be a second set of #'s that show all the kit #'s it comes in, usually starting with a K- and 4#'s.
I would pull the piston and replace that o ring too, and be sure to lube those o ringsBean Jr. and mile marker 27 Thank this. -
Looks like K-3331 for the kit. Scratch that. That's the kit with cover.

At my last job before hanging up the keys, there was a ‘Super 10’ in the yard, with a similar issue but, it was with the first ‘split of the day’ out on the road, would hang up, then learned to step the clutch during that split, then it was all good to go for the rest of the day, would split flawlessly no problem till the next morning, rinse repeat.
That truck was my favorite to drive. 1995 KW T800, 3406e, tandem, Super 10. 1,100,00mi on the ticker.Bean Jr. Thanks this.
