whats the difference in a 15210c fuller and 16210c fuller and are all top plates the same on a fuller the reason im asking is the 16 came out of my w9 and the 15 was in a international and my shop is saying the gear shif is touching a cross member with the 15210c in reverse 2nd 4th put the top plate on off the 16 and it fine the my old top plate is worn and had to hold it in reverse and 2nd and 4th

No, they aren't all the same, some have what they call "forward control" and your 16210c must be a forward control and the 15210c is not a forward control.

My gear shift makes a crackling like noise when I'm pulling a hill and getting on it. I have the Eaton 10 spd. It does it mainly in 8th, 9th and 10th. Seems to be worse the lower the rpm gets. I can hold the shifter steady with my hand and the noise is almost gone. Could there be something wrong in the trans or do i have the same problem with bushings and such?
