Studs with fine threads for the nuts are course thread on the other end. Stick with the 180 all around.

Are you talking about silicone or aerobic form a gasket? I have put chunks in with Great Dane white, gray and black silicone with no problem. Also black permatex silicone. I prefer the gray Permatex, when you take a hub cap off that was installed with that it is really on there. You could probably take all the bolts out after it is cured and run it forever.
The Permatex red aerobic is awesome. The black should not even be on the market. Had to do a C series front cover twice. It never really set up.
I do see a fair amount of chunks leaking and will discontinue all black, stick with gray or red from now on. Thank You.

    Oxbow Thanks this.
