    Thanks for this website! It is really helping me make a sound decision. This is a really tough time to be starting a new career especially as I enter my mid 50s. So many of these companies can abuse the drivers very badly. The stories I am reading are schocking but not surprising.

    Welcome to forum Endra, you will find that some of the horror stories come from less than reliable sources. The thing with trucking is like any other industry; there are good companies, bad companies, and companies that are about dead even, it is just finding the company that is the right fit for you. Also I have been learning that it does get better with time, I don't like the way my company handles certain issues, but they have done right by me overall, while some of my friends despise the company for problems they have had. I wish you the best of luck and encourage you to take anything you hear whether good or bad with a grain of salt.
