Yes they are, they should both be 40 pin.
The only thing is the perameters in the ECM might be a little goofy. If your just switching to test that's fine, but if it's going to stay you should get the timing calibrated for that engine for it to run optimum.

One is set at 475 1750 torque and the other is 455 1650.

Not a whole lot different there as far as horsepower ratings. Should have no problems swapping them out.

You are going to have problems with trying to interchange these two ECMs.

The 5EK89774 ECM is from a 475 Hp 1750 torque engine this engine uses 58 injectors.

The 5EK26824 ECM is from a 455 Hp 1650 torque engine this engine uses 57 injectors.

One possible problem will be when you install the 475 Hp ECM on the 455 engine. You will lose Hp doing this

The second possible problem will be the if you install the 455 Hp ECM on the 475 Hp engine. With this combination you'll gain Hp, but the turbo will be too small and be over sped, along with high EGTs from incomplete combustion because the turbo can't move enough air into the engine. The turbo will explode in a year or less doing this swap from over speeding. You'll need to change the turbo, the 455 hp 5EK engines have a smaller turbo on them.

The flash files are matched to the injector flow rates to determine Hp. In this case you have programming in the ECM with a difference of 18% flow rates differences with the injectors used for the two engines.

Never thought about the two engines having different injectors. I thought it was just the 6ts engines that used the 58 injectors.
    Learn something everyday!
I honestly thought he was doing this to test an issue he was having.

The injectors in the 5ek26824 have a part number of 10r8501 are these not the correct ones

The 10r8501 injectors are a updated injector for the 10r0957 I think or possibly the 10r0958. So to answer your question yes they probably are but will have to check Sis to be sure.
