ECM programming for a 2000 N14

    What do I need or have to do to get more power out of my N14? My CPL is 2591 and it's currently set at 370/435. I would love it to pull better being I'm always between 77-80,000lbs. I don't drive more than 66mph but getting there is what I want to do a little bit faster. It's not the red head it's all black.

    my old man had one like that they changed the fuel pedal setting ran alittle better i think theres like a couple ways to set the pedal in the ecm

    That's funny, I remember Fernando being at PP back when I built my first BCIV Low Flow! I built that engine back in 2008. I wondered what happened to him or where he went. If I had a pump on this thing I could make it really go but this ecm got me at the moment. I'll give him a call in the morning to see what he can do for me. Thanks for the link also

    You can't program an ECM off an ordinary laptop, otherwise everybody would be doing it. If you want a cheap upgrade might try one of the diesel Dr's around the country that advertise on the CB.
