Economic crash worse than in 2008?

Show me an optimistic truck driver, and I'll show you either a newbie or daddy's kid driving a new Pete. What part am I not right about? The burn barrel?

 

A burn barrel isnt very useful in miami, but theres gonna be a lot of humblings coming down the pike, all over the world. Watching your home auctioned for half what you paid while your family still lives in it will knock your pride down a few notches.

 

I said that as more of a metaphorical saying, as a kid, we always saw people from the Great Depression, poor, and huddled around a burn barrel. That was 100 years ago, and we've come a long ways since then and probably won't happen. What will happen is a huge dent in our lifestyles. People won't be so apt or have the downpayment for anything, and that's going to hurt a lot of people, and many will be driving ex-rental Chevy Sonics, because it's the cheapest thing out there. Sounds awful familiar to post depression days.

 

I guess it’s only a problem if you get a loan for those things. Problem is, they paid cash for everything then and didn’t blow money on everything. Now you got big bubba swamp trucker with 12” lift, big screen super deluxe 94” satellite tv and $300K homes on a $50K income. It’s just a market correction effectually.

Well I don’t believe that’s true I’ve been driving for 40 years and my wife says I’m so optimistic I got to sit on my hands so I ain’t waving at everybody. I’m an over comer I just can’t help it that’s who I am , when it gets too rough for most people it’s getting just about right for me. But again my hope is not in this world. I promise I’m not bragging I just wake up bright eyed bushytailed with a smile on my face every morning! Kind a like those people in that airplane (LETS ROLL)...............
Who knows in 20 years this might be the good all days.... Faith family trucks.....
