Ecsrow Account?

That's why they call it a deposit and not escrow. Calling it escrow when it's a deposit is the problem.

 

Zeitner @ sons in Omaha takes 500.00 escrow that you signoff on .
Don't give written notice and they take it ...late delivery in the past for whatever reason and they take it !

 

I somewhat agree.

However the word Escrow is defined and used in the regulations which means from what I understand applies to any contracted arrangement that a carrier/company or owner would engage into for a outside party resource like a truck or a driver.

 

From a former Zeitner driver, who receivedall $500 back. Simply put, they hold the money to cover loss of lock,equipment,and such. I simply followed the company rules, ( and being a decent human being0, gave them ample notice of resignation in writing ( 2 weeks if I remember correctly.) Anyway, they are such a horrible company to owrk for that I am considering returning. Believe me, with 35 years driving, there are a lot worse.

 

How do you like it at NFI? I am in the hiring process and noticed the "escrow" paperwork, that's how I ended up here.

 

Quit back in February, New management came in and screwed it all up, wasn't any money left there and with the dash cam, slow trucks, and mega fleet bs it just wasn't worth it anymore.. after new management took over I make 10k less the last year I worked there than the previous years there.. I'm glad they sucked so bad tho, gave me the motivation to do my own thing and haven't looked back since. Fyi took me like a month to get that escrow back After I quit.. company definetley went downhill fast..

 

What state were you running out of with them?

 

Texas, each account is different and ran like it's own company so maybe you will have better luck.
